When social media bombards us daily with perfect homes, it’s easy to become disheartened. But don’t feel too bad about it; nearly every inspiring interior has been styled in some way. Interior styling is commonplace in magazines, but plenty of architectural firms, estate agents and interior designers use stylists to bring their projects to life; to literally make them fit for purpose (i.e. homely).
What if you could do that for your own home? Heath + Down offers a wide range of services; from colour consultations to curated shelving, bespoke sourcing trips to complete room design. All with the intention of crafting a home that feels homely. And all yours.

We’ll begin with a short complimentary consultation, at my studio, just to check we’re the right fit for each other and to understand the scope of the work. No obligation. A site visit of up to 2 hours follows. This is charged, but redeemable against a contracted project.
If you are an interior designer, I’d love to help you get your projects client-ready (as well as photo-ready for that all important portfolio).

My first port of call is always to look at what you’ve already got. A lot can be said for a better layout and a really good edit. I have a little black book of sources, curated over many years, and really favour introducing ‘hero’ products from small independent retailers and manufacturers, shopping local and hitting up antique fairs and junk shops.
Style isn’t about how much money you’ve got; it’s about what you choose to have on show and how it’s curated and put together. My super-power is mixing scale and texture. I use a multitude of sources to reflect a home style that is all your own, and deliver a look that won’t look ‘new’ or contrived, but something for you to be happy to live in and proud to show off.
